Relaxing cup of coffee in Madrid!

During the first week, everybody was making fun of the Olympic speech of Ana Botella, Mayor of Madrid, as she said ‘a cup of cafe con leche in Plaza Mayor’ in a Spanglish way:))

In Madrid, there are free guided tours starting from La Puerta Del Sol, the centre, everyday. Thanks to our charming guide Paulo, we learned about the important events and people of Spain while visiting Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villa, Palacio Real, Gran Via, Plaza de la Cibeles, and some historical restaurants and churches. We could walk around all these places in 2-3 hours. We spent another day in Retiro Park enjoying grass, weather, lake and monuments.  By the way, I’ve learned that Madrid is the highest city in Europe so get something thick for nights! The only thing that we should have done was to visit museums but it’s for the next time;)

Sozun Ozu:

Madrid sanat, kultur, guzel insanlar, avrupa havasinin doya doya keyfini cikaracaginiz yer. Her kosesinde bi heykel, bi heybetli bina, bi sergi, bi park, bi muzisyen, bi sekilde sizi alikoyan bi seyleri var. Yemekleri de yine muthis, tapaslari, montaditoslari, sangriasiyla damaginizda guzel tadlarla donersiniz benim gibi.Image
