I was in Philadelphia in the first week of October, 2015 and you see that the weather was not that bad. It is a very historical and beautiful city. When my dear friend Diana suggested to tour the city on segways, I knew that it would be so fun. We had a nice discount thanks to the big German group whose number was already enough for the tour. We had little walkie-talkies on us so that our guide could tell about its history and important monuments and attractions and also keep us under control. After 15-min instruction, we were ready to hit the road and we had a fun and informative tour for 2 hours.
Apart from that, we tried the very famous Philly Cheese Steak in the most popular two restaurants; the inventor Pat’s King of Steaks and Geno’s Steaks. To me, they had the same taste but Philly cheesesteak is not that tasty. It’s pretty plain but with some salt and sauce it’s better.
Liberty Bell Center (symbol of freedom, crack on its first use), Independence Hall (birthplace of Declaration and Constitution), Franklin Institute (very old and beloved science museum), Spruce Street Harbor Park, Elfreth’s Alley (the oldest and beautiful continually occupied residential street in the US), Reading Terminal Market (America’s oldest farmers’ market), Love Park are all must-see in Philly.
It’s only 2 hour away from NYC and I heard that some people commute daily. So I highly rcommend to visit it if you come to NYC.

Sürücüler çok saygılı olduğu için herhangi bir problem yaşanmıyor, keyifle geziliyor. Biz Ekim başında gittik, hava da fena değildi.
Philly Cheesesteak çok meşhur dediler, gittik yedik tabi en eski ve popüler mekanlarında, Pat’s ve Geno’s. Karşılıklılar zaten, o yüzden ikisininkini de tattık. Bence pek bi cazibesi yok, olabildiğince sade ama denemeye değer tabi.
Yukarda bahsettiğim yerlerini görmeli öncelikle ama daha bir çok yeri var görülecek. O yüzden ben yine gideceğim. NYC’den 2 saatlik mesafede, gelmişken görün derim.
